The local people weren’t the only ones to welcome us. I was also “treated” to a welcome by a tamed crocodile inside the Nubian home we visited. Thanks to our guide who grabbed my camera to take these pictures. As you can see, having the crocodile on my shoulder wasn’t so hard to take, it was when it was on my head that I was really surprised :P In the last picture I finally managed to make a hopeful smile – both that I could get this creature off of me soon, and that it was sand falling all over me from the croc’s scaly skin!
