It's been a long time. . .

Hi all,

It’s been a loooong time since my last post, and I’m not sure if anyone is still checking this blog. Sorry about the delay. I’m going to do some backtracking, and post some journal and email excerpts, as well as pics that might be interesting. As you can see I have been meaning to post, just haven’t done so. Haven’t been to an internet café to do so (it’s much easier on high speed than dial-up at my house which always times out).
I know this blog consists mostly of the exciting experiences that have punctuated my time here. (Yes, it does remind me of Atwood’s ‘Significant Moments in the Life of My Mother’ for all of you Lit folks.) Although I won’t bore you with details of sitting quietly in my apartment reading or writing many evenings, I thought I would potentially bore you with an excerpt from an email that might shed a little light on my living situation here. I promise to write again soon. It’s just been a bit busy with work et al lately.
