The Pyramids
Okay, here’s a pyramid. Pretty big, eh? Impressive that people could make it without the aid of any massive mechanical devices? Especially when you consider the size and weight of each limestone block. If you think so, look at the next picture and consider that that the pyramid in this picture is that little pile of rubble to the right of the Great Pyramid of Khufu seen in the distance behind the Sphinx. It truly is an amazing feat.

Hi Kara - Love your blogg. When we learn something new we forget the old. Modern Example - who knows how to use a typewritter these days! How they built the pyramids is a lost art now, because something new came along that was better. Also, cheap labour and human suffering and endurance falls into the mix.
